Tracey Winkler

Principal

Welcome Bulldogs!  It is my honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Forsyth Central High School.  

This school year will mark thirty-two years as an educator in both Florida and Georgia.  I began my journey in Forsyth County in 2005 as a school counselor at South Forsyth High School.  I had the honor of opening West Forsyth High School as a counselor and then moved to North Forsyth High School in 2015 as an assistant principal.   In 2021, I moved to the CTAE Assistant Director position at the district office and then returned to the school level as an assistant principal at Denmark High School for two years.  

I am committed to serving, supporting, and connecting to all our students, staff, and the community of the C-House.  I will give you my Bulldog Best each day, every day!  It is going to be a tremendous 25-26 school year, and I cannot wait to get started! 

Allyson Carvell

Hello Bulldogs!  I've been at the C-House Since 2021, and I'm excited to continue to serve our community as Assistant Principal.  Central is special to me because of the kindness of our students, the heart of our faculty and staff, and the diverse offerings that make it feel like home.  

Please let me know how I can support you throughout the school year!  It is my hope that every student gets connected and thrives at FCHS.  Go Dawgs! 

Louis Daniel

Assistant Principal

Louis Daniel has been in education for twenty-four years.  He has worked at Sequoyah High School, Lambert High School, Alliance Academy, and East Forsyth High School.  In 2022, he transferred to Gateway Academy where he is currently serving as an Assistant Principal.   Throughout his career he has also served as a Spanish teacher, Graduation Coach, and an Assistant Administrator.  Mr. Daniel has a Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama and a Specialist Degree for Lincoln Memorial University.  In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and his two daughters Mckinley and Mary Elizabeth.

Hello Bulldogs! I’m excited to be joining Forsyth Central High School as an Assistant Principal.

I began my journey in education in 2007 as a science teacher at South Forsyth High School. In 2021, I had the opportunity to help open East Forsyth High School, where I served as an Assistant Principal. Most recently, I’ve been at North Forsyth Middle School in the same role. Over the years, I’ve also served Forsyth County as a Graduation Coach, Assistant Administrator, and Science Content Facilitator.

I’m passionate about building strong relationships and creating a supportive, connected school community. I’m honored to be part of the C-House and look forward to an amazing year ahead. Go Dawgs!

Welcome to Forsyth Central High School! It’s my honor to serve as one of your Assistant Principals.  As a graduate from South Forsyth High School and having been here in this building for my 10^th grade year I have a strong connection to this school and this community.  My goal for all of students, teachers, and extended school family is for everyone to be Connected in the wellness and academic life of our students.

Hello Bulldogs!  

I’m proud to serve as an Assistant Administrator and the 504 Coordinator at Forsyth Central High School.  I’ve spent many years teaching Biology, Environmental Science, and Chemistry, and have also supported students as a graduation coach, summer school director, and as an assistant administrator, needless to say, I am passionate about helping students find their own path to success.

Originally from Tennessee, I’m a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) with my BS in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology and MS in Secondary Science Education and the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with my EdS in Secondary Science Education. 

When I’m not at school, I love spending time with family and friends, watching scary movies, and diving into a good mystery novel. My husband is a math professor at the University of North Georgia, our son is a 5th grader at Haw Creek Elementary.  

I’m really excited to be part of the C-House community and to work with such an amazing group of students, staff, and families.  Looking forward to an amazing year!

Jenni Kunz

Hello and welcome to the C-House. After 22 years in education - from teaching AP Literature and AP Research to serving as ELA Department Chair and Student Support Coordinator - I've learned that the magic happens when we create spaces where every student can discover their potential.

My journey has taught me that education is about so much more than academics.  I've seen firsthand how powerful it is when we meet students where they are and help them thrive. I bring both passion and expertise to supporting our school community.  I look forward to a great year!

Kevin McConnell

Assistant Administrator

I am honored to serve the Central Community as an Assistant Administrator and Assistant Athletic Director for the 2025–2026 school year.

This year marks my 12th year in education and 5th in Forsyth County. I joined the C-House in 2023 and have served our FCHS community the last two years as a Special Education teacher and CTI Coordinator.

During my career, I have served as a Special Education Teacher, Head Baseball Coach, and Assistant Football and Baseball Coach at various high schools across Northeast Georgia. I hold a B.A. in History (2011), an M.A.T. in Special Education (2013), and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction (2019), all from Piedmont College.

My goal is to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students, staff, and the entire Central community. I am committed to supporting and serving every member of the Central family with dedication and purpose.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Courtney, and we are excited to welcome our first child, a baby girl, in September.
